INDEPENDENT MEDICAL EVALUATIONS

• Scheduling  - It is our practice to schedule two weeks from the receipt of your referral, unless otherwise requested.

• Notification of Parties – Our scheduling letter has been translated into multiple languages.  We notify the claimant and/or their legal representative by both certified and regular mail as requested. 

• Interpreters are available and we routinely ask claimants to advise if this service is needed.  

• Confirmation calls are made in advance of scheduled appointments to avoid disruption fees.  "Spanish is spoken."

• Early Response Forms – Once the exam has taken place, a preliminary report will be faxed within 24hours if required.

• Reports – we have medical protocol requirements in place.  In addition to communication and reporting requirements, our providers verify under oath that they have dictated, reviewed and personally signed their reports as required by Statute.  Quality review of reports takes place within our organization to ensure that relevant issues have been addressed.

• Transportation – we can arrange for taxi service to transport claimants to and from their scheduled appointments, this can be arranged at short notice when necessary.
